In Their Words:
"Milson Road. This has long been a sentimental favorite for us, so we felt it was the perfect name for our family-owned and operated business.

As our home-away-from-home during a time living in Australia, Milson Road represents memories of adventures, celebrations and special holidays spent with family and friends from near and far. Each spring, a large Jacaranda tree bloomed in a wild burst of lavender over Milson Road. This beautiful, annual event was always worth celebrating — and documenting — so we thought it only fitting to use its signature lavender shade and iconic branches to help tell our Milson Road story.
Those wonderful years back on Milson Road inspired us to share our founding signature product, The Daily PortraitTM, with others. Mark originally developed handmade versions of The Daily Portrait as special gifts for nieces and nephews. After the birth of our first child, we were finally able to hang our own version of The Daily Portrait in our home on Milson Road. Friends and family members began requesting their own versions of The Daily Portrait to commemorate important milestones in their lives and to give as gifts on special occasions. When we came back to the U.S., The Daily Portrait came with us, and so did the passion to someday create our company, Milson Road.
We are proud to share The Daily Portrait with you and your family. With this one-of-a-kind gift you can capture the events of an extraordinary day, and consider that day saved — forever.
We hope you enjoy your visit to Milson Road, and find a sentimental favorite while you’re here."
My Thoughts:
I love personalized things so of course I jumped at the chance to review one of the Daily Portraits from Milson Road. The idea is to remember that special date in time. They take the date you give them and then pull the top stories, prices, top movies and songs...
At first I wasn't certain who I was going to make it for. I really loved the new baby versions but I don't know anyone who just had a baby. So I decided to make one for my husband and I. Our 5th wedding anniversary is coming up this month, on the 20th, so I was a perfect time.

It is very easy to customize. First you start out by choosing the occasion. Then your pick the colors, you can pick the frame and the mat color. I picked a black frame with a khaki colored mat. From there you are taken to a form to fill out your info. I filled out our names (my maiden), where the wedding took place, how big the wedding was, and then our honeymoon destination. Then you can also add your very own photo or choose one of there's.
My favorite thing is that many many years from now our children can look at it and see what was going on at that time.
They take a while to make since they are one-of-a-kind, about 3 weeks, so if you have an occasion in mind order as soon you can!
